二、Description 职位描述

HKUST Business School is searching for a capable and dynamic individual to fill the position of Post-doctoral Fellow in the Institute for Financial Research (IFR). The institute’s mission is to address critical social and economic issues of our time by combining and leveraging knowledge and resources across different intellectual disciplines and fields, as well as from different schools and universities. Our proposed research activities and programs will focus on tackling some of the most important challenges and opportunities in Hong Kong today. The institute has four main research themes: a) Technological Innovations; b) Environmental and Social Responsibility; c) Wealth Management; d) Macro-finance and Geo-economics. The appointee will assist faculty members of the Institute in conducting research in areas related to fintech and/or wealth management and contribute to broader academic and policy discussions under the Institute’s mandate. The job duties include:

Conduct research in fintech (blockchain, digital currencies and assets, AI and finance) or wealth management (asset pricing, family office, investment management).

Provide editorial and research support for academic publications, policy reports, and grant proposals.

Assist in organizing seminars, conferences, and collaborative projects with industry and regulators.

Perform data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and database management.

Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Institute.

香港科技大学金融研究院（IFR）现诚聘一名能力出众、积极进取的人才，担任博士后研究员。金融研究院的使命是整合并充分利用不同学科、专业领域以及不同学院和大学的知识与资源，以应对当今社会和经济领域的重大问题。研究院拟开展的研究活动和项目，将重点聚焦香港当前面临的一些最重要的挑战与机遇。研究院设有四个主要研究方向：1）科技创新；2）环境与社会责任；3）财富管理；4）宏观金融与地缘经济。获聘者将协助研究院教师开展金融科技及／或财富管理相关领域的研究，并围绕研究院的使命，为更广泛的学术及政策讨论作出贡献。主要职责包括：

开展金融科技领域的研究，包括区块链、数字货币与数字资产、人工智能与金融；或开展财富管理领域的研究，包括资产定价、家族办公室及投资管理。

为学术出版物、政策报告及科研资助申请书提供编辑与研究支持。

协助组织研讨会、学术会议，以及与业界和监管机构开展的合作项目。

进行数据收集、定量与定性分析以及数据库管理。

承担研究院指派的其他工作。

三、Qualifications 任职资格

Applicants should have a PhD degree in finance, economics, computer science, environmental studies, or related disciplines. They should have genuine interest in research and intellectual curiosity. The ideal candidates should possess an excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese, and proficiency in programming and statistical software. Relevant research experience is preferred.

申请人须拥有金融学、经济学、计算机科学、环境研究或相关学科的博士学位，并对研究具有浓厚兴趣和求知欲。理想的申请人应具备优秀的中英文口头及书面表达能力，并熟练掌握编程工具和统计软件。具有相关研究经验者优先考虑。
