Post-Doc in Robotics

Key responsibilities:
Carry out research activities in the field of software engineering for robotics robotics in the context of the aforementioned projects;
Coordinate project related work including work package related tasks and reporting;
Dissemination of project results in leading journals and conference in the robotics community;
Proposal management (i.e., highlighting potential opportunities, helping to form consortia and assistance in proposal writing).
Requirements:
Ph.D. or similar experience in the fields of robotics, model-driven engineering or software architectures;
Experience in developing robotics software, e.g., kinematics/dynamics, control of actuators/sensors, distrib-uted systems;
Good programming skills;
Experience with robotics middleware (eg. ROS, YARP, OROCOS);
Fluency in spoken and written English, German is a plus, but not required;
Willingness to travel;
High motivation and willingness to work in an international and interdisciplinary team.
