Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Postdoctoral Research Scientist position is available at Columbia University Medical Center, Center for High Throughput Minimally Invasive Biodosimetry. The work will be in support of our mouse core and will be focused on the analysis of the effects of radiation on mouse tissues including mouse hematopoietic system and human hematopoietic system reconstituted in immunodeficient mice. These studies involve flow cytometry, cytogenetic analysis and other basic methodologies. Collaborations will be with Center's Cytogenetics, Gene expression and Metabolomic components.
PhD in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology or a related field with expertise in cellular biology, cell-based assays and animal studies
