The SJ Yan and HJ Mao laboratory of Chemical Biology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, under direction of Professor Jun O. Liu, is accepting applications for the position of postdoctoral fellow. We are seeking up to 2 highly motivated and skilled molecular and cellular biologists to participate in multiple interdisciplinary projects at the interface between biology and chemistry. Qualified applicants should have a Ph.D. in life sciences within the past three years (Biochemistry, Molecular or Cellular Biology, chemical biology, Pharmacology, or related fields) and a strong foundation in molecular/cellular biology and chemical biology research. Expertise in molecular and cellular biology including CRISPR-CAS is required. Experiences with animal models will be a plus. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the group, but must be able to design and execute experiments independently. A number of research projects are available and applicants will have the opportunity to influence the direction of the project based on their specific interests and expertise.

The position is available immediately, with expected duration of no less than two years.
