Two postdoctoral positions are open at Professor Jae W. Lee’s lab at OHSU, which is located in Portland, Oregon, which is considered as one of the most beautiful and livable cities in the United States.

One position is to investigate the roles of the epigenetic transcriptional coregulator MLL3- and MLL4-complexes in metabolic processes in the liver, intestine and brown adipose tissue.

The second position is to elucidate gene regulatory network involved in embryonic development of feeding control neurons in the hypothalamus.

Both positions are fully funded by NIH and involve cutting edge genome-wide and mouse genetics approaches. Prior experience with these technologies as well as chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) is not a requirement but would be a plus. The applicants should be fluent with basic molecular biology and command good communication skills in English.
