Research Fellow position available in the Multiscale Integrative NeuroEngineering lab in the department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at City University of Hong Kong.

The research project will focus on the integration of advanced technologies and biological concepts at different scales to work on the design, fabrication, and use of advanced micro/nano biosystems for (1) high-throughput drug/genetic screening technologies, (2) Interaction between novel materials and neural systems, (3) neural network engineering at different scales from single cell, tissue level to whole animal.
Applicants should possess a Doctoral degree, and have experiences in neuroscience and engineering/material science/physics/chemistry, or related discipline. Candidate with a background in optics and electrophysiology is highly preferred. Good communication skills and willingness to work in a highly multidisciplinary and friendly team are expected. The Candidate should also have a good command of written and spoken English, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be mature, self-motivated. Teaching opportunity will also be available.
