Postdoc Research Position: Synthetic Organic/Radio Chemist

The Department of Cancer Systems Imaging (CSI) is one of the largest new programs at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center within the Division of Diagnostic Imaging.

There is an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry with strong background in organic synthesis and knowledgeable in coordination chemistry. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct synthesis of novel compounds and precursors; perform radiosynthesis with F-18 and radiolabeling of antibodies with radiometals for positron emission tomography (PET). Experience in radiochemistry is preferred but not mandatory. Other laboratory projects as assigned by the supervisor.
