The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £32,699 - £39,523 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

This is a new EU-FP7 postdoctoral position available immediately to work in the Cancer Immunology Unit within the groups of Dr. Quezada and Dr. Peggs.

The main purpose is to investigate strategies to overcome the barriers limiting effective anti-tumour immunity in vivo. The research will focus on the study and manipulation of co-inhibitory and co-stimulatory pathways in murine cancer models and models of genetically engineered T cell therapies.

The appointment is for 3 years in the first instance, subject to standard probationary requirements.

The post requires a highly motivated, hard working and driven individual with a PhD and extensive experience in in vivo immunology, immune-regulation, murine tumour models, multi-colour flow cytometry, molecular biology and cell culture and cell isolation techniques.

Candidates with previous experience in T cell engineering (i.e. CAR and/or TCR technology), adoptive cellular transfer and mouse models of cancer are encouraged to apply.
